All\u00ed se indica el total de gramos de carbohidratos por porci\u00f3n y otros datos del alimento.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\">\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Las etiquetas de informaci\u00f3n nutricional indican:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">tama\u00f1o de la porci\u00f3n del alimento, por ejemplo, una rebanada o 1\/2 taza <\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">total de gramos de carbohidratos por porci\u00f3n <\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">otros tipos de datos nutricionales como calor\u00edas, cantidad de prote\u00ednas y grasas por porci\u00f3n.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><b>Lea las etiquetas<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">La lectura de las etiquetas en los alimentos y las bebidas ayuda a descubrir los az\u00facares agregados. Estos figuran como:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">az\u00facar, az\u00facar sin refinar, az\u00facar morena y az\u00facar invertido (una mezcla de fructosa y glucosa) <\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">jarabe de ma\u00edz y de malta <\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">jarabe de ma\u00edz: alto en fructosa. Utilizado frecuentemente en gaseosas y jugos <\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">miel, melaza y n\u00e9ctar de \u00e1gave <\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">dextrosa, fructosa, glucosa, lactosa y sucrosa <\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Es fundamental para un plan de alimentaci\u00f3n saludable limitar los alimentos y bebidas con az\u00facares agregados.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<h2 class=\"western\"><a name=\"menu7\"><\/a> <span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">\u00bfSe pueden comer dulces, bebidas y otros alimentos con az\u00facares agregados?<\/span><\/span><\/h2>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">S\u00ed pero se debe limitar su ingesta porque su alto contenido de calor\u00edas y bajo en vitaminas, minerales y fibra.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Es preferible consumir opciones m\u00e1s saludables como granos enteros ricos en fibra, cereales integrales, frutas, verduras y legumbres.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Otra recomendaci\u00f3n respecto de los dulces es evitar comerlos todos los d\u00edas. Hay que consumirlos en peque\u00f1as cantidades, en forma espaciada, para evitar alimentos con bajo nivel nutricional.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Se debe recordar siempre consultar con la nutricionista sobre la incorporaci\u00f3n de dulces en el plan de alimentaci\u00f3n.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<h2 class=\"western\"><\/h2>\n<h2 class=\"western\"><a name=\"menu8\"><\/a> <span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">\u00bfQu\u00e9 son los az\u00facares agregados?<\/span><\/span><\/h2>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Son diversas formas de az\u00facar que es a\u00f1adida a los alimentos o bebidas durante el procesamiento o la preparaci\u00f3n. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">En contraposici\u00f3n, los az\u00facares naturales como los de la leche y las frutas no son az\u00facares agregados sino carbohidratos. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Las fuentes m\u00e1s comunes de az\u00facares a\u00f1adidos son:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">gaseosas endulzadas con az\u00facar, bebidas de frutas tipo n\u00e9ctar o jugos envasados, bebidas deportivas y energ\u00e9ticas <\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">galletas dulces, postres, tortas, dulces frescos o envasados y los amasados o pasteler\u00eda<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">productos y postres hechos a base de leche como helado, yogur y la leche endulzados <\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">caramelos <\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"western\"><strong><a name=\"menu12\"><\/a><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Puntos para recordar<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><b>Conteo de carbohidratos<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">&#8211; Es una herramienta de planificaci\u00f3n de comidas, \u00fatil para personas con diabetes tipo 1 y 2 e implica llevar un registro de la cantidad de carbohidratos de los alimentos que se ingieren a diario.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">&#8211; Ayuda a controlar los niveles de glucosa en la sangre, tambi\u00e9n llamado az\u00facar en la sangre. Esto ocurre porque los carbohidratos afectan a la glucosa en la sangre m\u00e1s que otros nutrientes. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">&#8211; Para contar los carbohidratos se debe saber cu\u00e1les alimentos lo contienen y aprender a calcular su cantidad (n\u00famero de gramos) en los alimentos que ingiere.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">&#8211; Deber\u00e1 sumar el n\u00famero de gramos de carbohidratos de cada alimento que consume para obtener su total diario. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><b>Carbohidratos<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">&#8211; Es uno de los nutrientes principales que se encuentran en los alimentos y las bebidas. Incluyen az\u00facares, almidones y fibra. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">&#8211; Son una parte importante de un plan de alimentaci\u00f3n saludable porque proporcionan energ\u00eda.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">&#8211; La mayor\u00eda de los alimentos que contienen carbohidratos tambi\u00e9n poseen vitaminas y minerales. Y son buena fuente de fibra que ayudan a prevenir el estre\u00f1imiento, bajar los niveles de colesterol y controlar el peso. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">&#8211; Alimentos que lo contienen: granos, frutas, productos l\u00e1cteos, verduras, legumbres, dulces y bebidas que contienen az\u00facar. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">&#8211; Cuando se ingieren carbohidratos, el sistema digestivo descompone los az\u00facares y los almidones y los convierte en la glucosa. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">&#8211; Para cumplir con sus objetivos de glucosa en la sangre, deber\u00e1 equilibrar su ingesta de carbohidratos con actividad f\u00edsica y las inyecciones de insulina. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">&#8211; Las etiquetas de informaci\u00f3n nutricional en los paquetes de los alimentos indican el tama\u00f1o de la porci\u00f3n del alimento, los gramos totales de carbohidratos por porci\u00f3n y otros datos del producto. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\" align=\"left\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><b>Aprender a contar<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\" align=\"left\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Los pacientes con diabetes que quieran participar del &#8220;Taller de conteo de carbohidratos&#8221; deben enviar un correo electr\u00f3nico a <\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000080;\"><span lang=\"zxx\"><u><a href=\"mailto:infocronicos@osep.mendoza.gov.ar\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">infocronicos@osep.mendoza.gov.ar<\/span><\/span><\/a><\/u><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"> \u2013 <\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000080;\"><span lang=\"zxx\"><u><a href=\"mailto:paola.navarro@osep.mendoza.gov.ar\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">paola.navarro@osep.mendoza.gov.ar<\/span><\/span><\/a><\/u><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"> con su nombre y apellido, n\u00famero de afiliado y un n\u00famero de celular de contacto.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\" align=\"left\">\n<p class=\"western\" align=\"right\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><b>Lic.
