m\u00e1s de 100 personas, entre profesionales de la Salud y p\u00fablico en general, se llev\u00f3 a cabo el 1\u00ba Simposio de Cuidados Paliativos en San Rafael. Los asistentes pudieron conocer el trabajo que realizan las diferentes \u00e1reas de la Sede OSEP San Rafael para articular un abordaje integral del paciente oncol\u00f3gico.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">La jornada se llev\u00f3 a cabo en la Sala Coirones, del Centro de Congresos y Exposiciones Alfredo Bufano y la apertura del evento estuvo a cargo de los doctores Eduardo Salman, gerente Asistencial de OSEP San Rafael y Silvio Mart\u00ednez, coordinador del programa Cuidar.<\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">Los Cuidados Paliativos suelen estar asociados a la fase final de la enfermedad, sin embargo implican un seguimiento adecuado y control de los s\u00edntomas durante el desarrollo de la patolog\u00eda. Permiten reconocer c\u00f3mo repercute en la calidad de vida y en el modo de recibir el tratamiento propuesto por los m\u00e9dicos especialistas.<\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">El objetivo general del encuentro fue difundir la importancia de los Cuidados Paliativos, mostrar todas aquellas estrategias dirigidas a aliviar el sufrimiento del paciente con diagn\u00f3stico de enfermedad oncol\u00f3gica avanzada y progresiva que limita su vida, siempre desde una mirada abordada por los distintos profesionales que integran el equipo multidisciplinario: m\u00e9dicos enfermeros, psic\u00f3logos, nutricionistas y trabajadores sociales.<\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">Los ejes tem\u00e1ticos que se desarrollaron fueron: \u00bfPor qu\u00e9 cuidar y para qu\u00e9? y Estado actual de los Cuidados Paliativos en OSEP.
