{"id":28113,"date":"2017-03-20T19:02:32","date_gmt":"2017-03-20T19:02:32","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/osepmendoza.com.ar\/web\/?p=28113"},"modified":"2018-12-17T11:52:09","modified_gmt":"2018-12-17T14:52:09","slug":"trastornos-auditivos-en-los-bebes","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/osepmendoza.com.ar\/web\/trastornos-auditivos-en-los-bebes\/","title":{"rendered":"Trastornos auditivos en los beb\u00e9s"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Si definimos el primer a\u00f1o de vida de un ni\u00f1o como un tiempo de escuchar, de registros de sonidos, de adquisici\u00f3n de significados, de un mundo que va armando el ni\u00f1o como rompecabezas de las distintas vertientes de sus sentidos, es f\u00e1cil comprender que cuanto m\u00e1s tarde sea detectada una disminuci\u00f3n auditiva, m\u00e1s irreversible puede ser. Por eso es que el diagn\u00f3stico de hipoacusias realizado durante los primeros meses de vida del ni\u00f1o brinda la oportunidad de habilitar en lugar de rehabilitar.<\/p>\n<p>El Programa de Atenci\u00f3n Temprana de OSEP a trav\u00e9s de estudios audiol\u00f3gicos neonatales detecta e ingresa a los ni\u00f1os con dificultades auditivas temporarias o permanentes, a quienes eval\u00faa y estimula, adem\u00e1s de realizarles seguimiento en el desarrollo de sus habilidades auditivas y ling\u00fc\u00edsticas. Tambi\u00e9n trabaja con las familias para favorecer el uso de audici\u00f3n y lenguaje en el hogar y fortalecer la independencia e inclusi\u00f3n social del ni\u00f1o.<\/p>\n<p>La estimulaci\u00f3n auditiva apropiada, en el momento oportuno, permite desarrollar las \u00e1reas del cerebro que conectan sonidos con significados. Ense\u00f1ar a escuchar y relacionar sonidos del ambiente con sus fuentes sonoras y en especial los sonidos que forman el lenguaje hablado, favorece el desarrollo de habilidades ling\u00fc\u00edsticas y de comunicaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>La mayor parte de las hipoacusias infantiles (aproximadamente el 80%) se encuentran presentes en el momento del nacimiento o en la etapa neonatal. De all\u00ed la importancia de establecer programas de cribado neonatal durante los primeros meses de vida.<\/p>\n<p>Entre los diversos m\u00e9todos de detecci\u00f3n de p\u00e9rdida auditiva disponibles en la actualidad, hay dos medidas fisiol\u00f3gicas: respuesta de audici\u00f3n de tronco cerebral (BERA) y otoemisiones ac\u00fasticas (OEA), que son capaces de detectar p\u00e9rdida auditiva antes de los tres meses de edad.<\/p>\n<p>Las otoemisiones ac\u00fasticas, como m\u00e9todo diagn\u00f3stico, son especialmente ricas en los reci\u00e9n nacidos, por lo que se han transformado en uno de los mejores procedimientos de evaluaci\u00f3n. Se verifica la audici\u00f3n del ni\u00f1o con solo colocar el auricular en el conducto auditivo.<\/p>\n<p>A los ni\u00f1os con antecedentes de riesgo neonatal se les deben realizar Potenciales Evocados Auditivos de Tronco Cerebral, para evaluar el estado de la v\u00eda auditiva, que es la responsable de transmitir o llevar los sonidos hasta el cerebro.<\/p>\n<p>Una vez realizado estos estudios y detectada una dificultad, se debe realizar un seguimiento sistem\u00e1tico que permita completar el diagn\u00f3stico.
