En la apertura estuvieron presentes el Director General de OSEP, licenciado Sergio Vergara, la Directora del Hospital del Carmen, doctora Liliana Cammi y la infect\u00f3loga Silvia Camuzzi.<\/p>\n<div id=\"yiv1580865629yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1480612870249_2825\"><span id=\"yiv1580865629yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1480612870249_2826\">El test es la \u00fanica manera de saber si una persona tiene el virus y consiste en un an\u00e1lisis de sangre como cualquier otro. No es necesario estar en ayuno total en el momento de hacerlo, alcanza con no comer alimentos con grasas 2 horas antes de la extracci\u00f3n. Para realizarlo, el paciente debe firmar un consentimiento informado.<\/span><\/div>\n<div id=\"yiv1580865629yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1480612870249_2829\"><span id=\"yiv1580865629yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1480612870249_2830\">Es conveniente hacer el test en el caso de haber tenido relaciones sexuales de cualquier tipo sin preservativo; haber compartido agujas , jeringas o m\u00e1quinas de afeitar con otras personas o en ocasi\u00f3n de estar esperando un hijo. En este \u00faltimo caso se busca descartar que alg\u00fan integrante de la pareja sea portador del virus, ya que puede transmitirse al beb\u00e9. Si la mujer tiene VIH puede hacer un tratamiento para que el ni\u00f1o nazca sin el virus. Si el hombre es quien lo posee, puede empezar su tratamiento y usar preservativo para que no se infecte a la mujer ni al peque\u00f1o. Hoy en d\u00eda, la medicaci\u00f3n es altamente efectiva y permite que la enfermedad sea tratada como una infecci\u00f3n cr\u00f3nica.<\/span><\/div>\n<div id=\"yiv1580865629yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1480612870249_2833\"><span id=\"yiv1580865629yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1480612870249_2834\">La Ley Nacional de Sida N\u00ba 23798 establece que el an\u00e1lisis es confidencial, gratuito y voluntario en todo el pa\u00eds, por lo tanto es un derecho, nunca una obligaci\u00f3n ni condici\u00f3n para el ingreso a un trabajo, el acceso al estudio, la atenci\u00f3n m\u00e9dica, la realizaci\u00f3n de una operaci\u00f3n o un examen prenupcial.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<div id=\"yiv1580865629yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1480612870249_2837\"><strong><span id=\"yiv1580865629yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1480612870249_2838\">Per\u00edodo Ventana<\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n<div id=\"yiv1580865629yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1480612870249_2840\"><\/div>\n<div id=\"yiv1580865629yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1480612870249_2842\"><span id=\"yiv1580865629yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1480612870249_2843\">Es importante aclarar que hay un per\u00edodo denominado \u201cVentana\u201d, que es el tiempo que transcurre desde que el virus entra al cuerpo hasta que el test es capaz de detectarlo. Durante este per\u00edodo, de un mes aproximadamente, el resultado puede dar negativo aunque la persona tenga el virus.
